San Diego Fleet Week Family Event
Cool stuff happening this weekend (Saturday, September 18, and Sunday, September 19) to support and honor our military. Fleet Week’s Big Bay Family Festival is a FREE opportunity for families to have fun and learn more about our military history.
Located at B Street Cruise Terminal in the Port of San Diego, visitors will see interesting and informative exhibits, get a chance to climb aboard a Navy ship (or two!), and chat with the many Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen that will be in attendance.
A few of the events happening this weekend include:
- Navy Ship Tours: USS Freedom, USS Pinckney, USS Gary
- Military asset in-water demonstrations
- Navy Band Southwest & Marine Band San Diego
- Children’s Fun Zone
- Exhibitors: Retailers, community groups, non-profits
Taste of the Bay and a beer garden will also be available at additional cost.
